Bud, our long-time resident cat, passed away July 13, 2003.

Bud was of undetermined age, as he was well into adulthood when we adopted him in the summer of 1992.  He traveled cross-country in the car with us on our move to Western New York, and had interesting adjustments, including SNOW!

If I you don't let me in by 3...

A few of Bud's early adventures in New York are shown below.  One of the items he found most difficult to cope with was thunder, which we generally don't have in California, but is quite prevalent in the summer in New York.  The last year or so, though, he was spared that as he went deaf.  His health deteriorated steadily from mid-2002, and he passed away Sunday, July 13, as he dozed in a basket next to Ruth.

As long as I'm out here, might as well relax.
